this is the saddest e-mail that i have ever received...

it came in this afternoon, and i called pat to see it it was true...if you remember i posted on apex speed "free to a good home"....well it was all of my racing gear as due to my back surgery, my racing???days were over. pat was the receiptant and unfortunately everything that i sent to him was stolen from his storage facility...so he never got to use it...(I'D LIKE TO GET MY HANDS ON THE ****ERS THAT TOOK ALL OF IT) but now it's time to say goodby....as you can see by his e-mail he asked for no more e-mails....but i told him that i was going to pass this on to all of you. needless to say my conversation with him was tearful, (mostly mine) so he finally told me that all of you could at least tell him goodby...i did that at 5:00pm est today. in my whole life i have never met a better group of people than you racers and honestly i never met pat....today was the first time that i actually talked with him so just please know that we will soon "one less".
