Condition: Very good
Roller or turnkey: Turn key
History:World Sports Racers were built in Vista CA for central American series. About 100 were made. There are 8-10 of these cars running occasionally in VARA.
Features, specs, options: This car has a Loyning built engine. I believe it has Formula Atlantic crank and other internals. The computer was reprogrammed to match the engine specs and performance. The car makes 180 hp at rear wheels according to the dyno sheet. Cylinder head was rebuilt about 6 hours ago and the car has two or three track days since car was aligned, balanced, and corner weighted. The rear wing was modified to be more effective. The belts may be out of date however. I have had the car for 5 years but am not using it. It is a fun and easy car to drive. There are two additional transmissions. One is a close ratio with a Limited Slip dif. That trans needs to have a first gear replaced before it is reinstalled in car.
There is an extra set of BBS wheels with one year old tires on them . The Wheels on the car are stamped “J. Busby”. Which one of the original employee builder I spoke to thought was significant.
Asking price: $18,000 but negotiable
