We would like to do a pre-season Shakedown at Beaver Run Raceway just north of Pittsburgh on Wednesday of next week, April 1. (no, not an April fools prank). We have a few people willing but would like to have more to lower the cost for everyone. The track is $4800/day plus the mandatory EMT/Ambulance fee which is about $900 for the day. So if we get 8 people, it's about $715/per person. If we get more, cost goes down.
We have checked the weather for next week and right now it looks good for Wednesday- about 60 degrees and mostly sunny. Which after this winter will seem like a July afternoon.
