Do most people buy their spare parts from their chassis manufacturer or fab them up? A lot of what usually breaks like control arms and fiberglass nose cones and such seem like they wouldn't be particularly difficult or expensive to just make yourself. Another benefit of making them yourself is you might be able to develop some improvements on the original design, for instance, updating an older chassis to more modern standards. If people do usually buy off the shelf, do the manufacturers continue to provide support for their old 90s chassis or is this a new old stock thing that will run out eventually? I am asking specifically about what is commonly done in FC.
