CAR'S MECHANICAL HISTORY: Early 2009, I asked professional formula car mechanic, Alan Oppel (Pit Lane Services) to assist in purchase. Purchased car in Mar. '09. It had been in long term storage. Still on original log book. Alan performed a ground-up rebuild and modernization. Engine went to Rollin Butler at Crickett Farm Motors for complete rebuild ($3000). Body pieces are light and in good condition. Chassis got a new fuel cell and container, Tilton starter, Saab Clutch & slave cylinder, lightened flywheel and clutch assembly, Koni adjustable shocks, rebuilt master cylinders and brake calipers. New temperature gage and new master, ignition, rain light, and accessory switches. Tachometer and cable replaced. Has Compomotive three piece wheels. Winter of 2009, Alan added chassis structure on both sides of driver for improved safety. See photo of car and its sister for before/after perspective. Note workmanship. Mid 2012 we returned the motor to Crickett Farm for complete refresh ($3800) and replaced front rotors. Only two race weekends on refreshed motor. Alan prepped and maintained this car. Very reliable. Only a single DNF. An overtaking FC ran over my right front with his left rear and flattened my tire.

CAR'S TRACK HISTORY: Central Fl. (Sebring and Daytona) Regional Points Championship results: 2009-3rd; 2010-1st; 2011-2nd; 2012-1st. I turned 70 in 2012 and retired.
