I have finally decided its time to sell this car. I'm looking to switch gears and go Road Racing in a winged car and do not have the time or space to keep this car. This car has a lot of potential in the hands of a better driver than me. It would also be a good candidate for a Rotax conversion or a MC F600 conversion.
History of the Car as I know it:
This was Jeff Colegrove's 2010 National car and had many great results at national events with this car. They sold it to Dominic Stone in Oregon at the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011. Dominic ran it locally in 2011 and some in 2012. The car sat from April 2012 to when I bought the car in December of 2012.
Specs:
Wheelbase under 73" which means it has a 25lbs less weight minimum
Track width under 55"
Weight is less than 725lb minimum with 165lb driver
4-link rear
Diffusser with new supports in 2014
Frame:
frame front of the front roll bar was reworked back to how it originally was designed (I believe the Colegrove's changed it to allow huge feet)
Frame from front hoop forward was completely sanded and repainted in 2014
Suspension:
Front: Unequal length non-parallel dual wishbone suspension with QRE damper pucks, anti-ackerman steering
Rear: Dual Novak designed and fabricated trailing links w/ bell crank and pull based dampers, QRE pucks. Aluminum watts link with adjustable pickup point (roll center)
(entire front suspension was powder-coated in 2014)
Steering:
MOMO steering wheel with quick disconnect (new quick disconnect in 2013)
KOSO digital EGT meter/dash mounted to steering wheel with RPM, Water Temp, and 2 fast response egt's (new 2013)
Steering rack was reconfigured to be able to fit a 6'3" driver and a 5'1" co-driver
Steering rack was disassembled and re-greased (2013)
(Powder-coated tie-rods, painted steering shaft in 2014)
New powder-coated dash with all new switches in 2013
Tires:
