Yikes - Engine issue

I wonder if someone has experience with my current problem. One of the springs on that hold the rocker came loose and was floating around the head. The problem is - the part that goes around the the rocker adjuster is missing and is nowhere to be found. I assume that it went down the oil drain hole in the back of the head.



Where would the part end up?

Its never good to have this floating around but will it kill my fresh engine?



Any insights/experience would be welcomed.
