I'm just wondering what others are doing to protect/keep/transport their assembled wheel rims without tires on them.
Many years ago I worked for a company that used to make fiberglass wheel drums for a variety of F1 teams. Each drum looked like a small diameter 55 Gal drum that was the length to carry a full set of wheels with a protective disc between each. They used to make the Gel coat in the team colors.
It always struck me as a good solution, and I wonder if anyone makes something like this or if there was even a call for anything like this?
