This is only a sidebar to the DUFFUS event at Mid Ohio, but I thought I might reach out and see if we can get some feedback or assistance.
It is my understanding that Mid Ohio has a very strict "no pets" rule. A few weeks ago Mike Scanlan had asked if I had any information on doggie day care in the Mid Ohio area. Since I have spent a good portion of the first 5 months of this year in Medina, OH which is not too far from Mansfield; I told him that I would check with the day care place where Beaker spends her time while I am at Hawk Brake.
Unfortunately, the owner of the kennel/day care that I use does not have any contacts in the Mansfield. OH area. So, I have spent the last couple of days searching around for a doggie day care/boarding facility that is close to the track. I have been able to find several places, but they either don't do day care or they are already booked to capacity for the Fourth of July weekend.
If anyone knows of such a place, please chime in here and let us know. I am going to keep looking and will let you know if I come across anything.
