I am totally stoked that Porsche has provisional pole - with a 2L 4cylinder turbo motor and a very clever hybrid system.
These Le Mans cars have more relevance for future cars than the rules-restricted, too clever for their own good, unending rules F1 cars.
Has anyone read the permitted rules regarding F1 engine development for the next five years? Who drew this stuff up - a bunch of lawyers? And if the teams themselves are partly responsible then they have only themselves to blame.
Indy car is more entertaining.
