FF/CF Best Fit for First Car

Looking at cars available for sale, not sure what would be the best car for me. Through the generosity of one of the local owner/drivers, I will be driving a Zink Z10 (CF) at the WDCR Driver School at the end of March. I am 6 foot tall and current fluctuate between 210 to 215 lbs.

I understand there are several cockpit configurations and pedal position differences. According to what I understand, comfort level can vary dramatically from make and model dependent on the person in the seat.

I see several cars listed for sale through a number of sources, but not sure which would offer the best fit or what I should be looking at as a first open wheel car for me.

Just starting the search. Thoughts and guidance appreciated.

trying to find Andy Anderson...

In doing some research on Crossle history, does anyone know of the location/where abouts of Andy Anderson. I last knew he lived in Fort Worth Texas from the late 80's... He raced Crossle FF's among others in SCCA...

Any Ideas...?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 26, 2015

CHALLENGE CUP REVISED SCHEDULE FOR 2015

HARRISBURG, PA - The Challenge Cup Series is pleased to announce it has revised its schedule for 2015 with the addition of two races which will be part of the Pro Series by Formula Race Promotions.

May 2-3 Mosport

July 18-19 Shannonville

July 31-Aug 1 PIRC Beaver Run (Pro)

Aug 8-9 Pocono

Aug 29-30 NJMP Thunderbolt course (Pro)

Year end awards at NJMP

"The addition of these two races is a great opportunity for not only the series, but for drivers to showcase their skills in front of a larger audience. We also feel it may entice younger drivers who might want to use the Challenge Cup as a ladder to eventually run F1600 or F2000 and beyond." says Ray Carmody.

The board of directors would like to thank Robert Wright and his team at Formula Race Promotions and we look forward to exciting 2015 racing season

FV cooling scoops

I'm considering making my own metal scoops but if someone has a decent set of fiberglass or metal ones available for a good price let me know it could save me some time.

I'm running a BRD but I think just about any scoops could be made to work for me.
