1984 Swift DB-1 Formula Ford For Sale $17,000 o/b/o

Fully sorted iron head Ford powered car in excellent condition. Last raced in July of 2012, when it placed first in class. The clutch slave was rebuilt in spring of 2014 in preparation for a double regional, but I aborted preparation (due to romantic involvement) after reassembling and testing the car. My life has changed, and I want to sell the car to someone who will exercise it.
Only 3 race weekends (about 10 hours) on $4,400 engine rebuild by Ivey (including new pistons, rod & main bearings, wristpins, timing chain, resurfaced head, polished & shot peened crank, and lightened flywheel). Dyno tested at over 112 HP. This car was maintained by Auto Spa in Sonoma CA prior to my purchase in 2009 from Ken Rodrigues.
Car has: Aim Evo 4 Data Acquisition System with Micron 3 display (includes lap times, track maps, GPS, programable warnings & shift lights, etc.); three sets of Panasport wheels; drilled rotors, ProTech front uprights, new belts; Penske remote reservoir shocks; cockpit adjustable rear sway bar; spare nose; Thunderhill and Sears Point gearing; extra gears, muffler and some spares.
Available separately, or with everything you need to race, including an 18 foot enclosed trailer (set up for car, toolboxes, etc.) Ford F150 truck , EZ Up, scales, jacks, stands, etc.
