F1 Fuel Question

Any of you F1 smarties know why the cars can carry more fuel than they're allowed to use? Why not have a specified fuel tank size instead of some complicated sensor that monitors how much fuel was used.



Any insight out there guys?

Starter drive

Hey Guys,

What pitch starter drive pinion gear is required to turn a 135 tooth ring gear ? I have what I think is a standard drive pinion 10 tooth driving a 110 tooth ring gear however I have another engine with a 135 tooth ring gear and wonder If my starter will work ?

If not what pinion is required ?

Time to sell it. Too many cars. This one is fresh from K-Hill with a new transaxle and a bunch of odds and ends refreshed for the season and ready to race. New starter. New fuel cell late last year. The motor was rebuilt by Quicksilver last year, can be tuned to more than the spec 170 hp. AIM data system and everything the ESR was supposed to have. I will probably drive it at MARRS 1 if not sold by then.

Indianapolis motor speedway race seat

For the first time ever Indy Cars will be running on the road cars at the hallowed grounds of Indy as apart of opening weekend of the "Month Of May." All the ladder series will be apart of this weekend running at IMS.
