So a group of scientists have built the most durable and potentially densest digital storage medium ever conceived. It's a glass disc the size of a quarter that alters light passing through it in 5 dimensions. This quarter sized glass disc can hold 360 Terabytes of data, or roughly 12 times the digital space required to store the entire library of congress book collection. So one disc can hold the names and a short biography about every person in your family and every other person in the history of mankind.
