I just got shocking news that sadly Gord Leach passed away in a car crash yesterday evening.
I only knew him from time spent at the Gimli track, where he would come to race a couple of times a year. He was a great guy to have around the pits, always laughing and ready to lend a hand. He will certainly be missed by the racing community in Canada.
My thoughts go to his wife and sons, family and friends.
RIP Gord, it felt like an honor to have shared time with you.
