Feeling very virtuous as I’ve been really cleaning out unwanted “stuff” from my basement. I still have some leftover vee stuff from my 35 years of participation that someone other than the trash collector might want. All these items are free but the “buyer” pays shipping and handling. I’ll just drop the item off at the local UPS store.
A pretty darn complete set of Vee Line Xerox copies. So if you want to read about cheating in the 60’s and 70’s, the never ending but futile attempt to upgrade Petunia this is your big opportunity.
A three lb box of lug nuts and other assorted hardware.
A priming oil pump. You build the motor with this guy, put a bit of oil in it, spin the reversed, o ringed shaft with a fast electric drill and bingo all your bearings are pre-lubed. Not necessary but its racing comfort food.
A brand new link pin beam adjuster.
A few (maybe 5) new oil pumps. These are the bigger ones not the tiny ones.
A Vee bench engine starter. This consists of a ½ a split case transmission sawed off after the bell-housing and a virtually brand new 1958 VW starter. I used this to pre run my engine but once for grins I ran a motor with the last pushrod removed just to see how the rear oil pressure relief valve worked –messy experiment.
I also have several starters but since these are heavy I’ll recycle unless anyone has a use.
Preference given to someone who wants everything or locals who would pick up.
