You guys have been getting off easy for several years now as I don't post race reports anymore, although I keep threatening to. So, just for old times' sake, I thought it only appropriate to have a Shoe String Racing Hall of Fame. And although I have several guys I race with at the back who are sterling examples of being on A Wing and a Prayer, the Cameron team runs at the front. So let's start there.
By way of introduction, Cameron Parsons Racing has been under shade trees, fixing things with gum, baling wire and duct tape for oh.....6 years now. And they still manage to often lead the FCC West Coast series. Well that's all fine and good but here's the kicker, you won't find a more modest low key fun couple of guys anywhere in the paddock that can run at the front.

And when we say fun, they're not kidding around. Ask them about their tall 5th gear run at Fontana this year. That story can take a full six pack and a cohiba to digest.
