I'm going thru the front suspension of an Elva Mk6 (I'm doing a nut and bolt restoration), and the front suspension uprights and spindles were unusable. I bought a set of used spitfire uprights that came back from magnafluxing with a clean bill of health, but I need stub axles.
I'm looking for recommendations on where to get a pair of race quality chromoly stub axles. I noticed Chequered Flag has them for $225 and Lee Chapman seems to have them for $60. I'd love to save the $160 but I don't want to put an inferior part on the car either. Thanks for any/all advice and opinions.
