I have a big valve head as well as a NOS 1600 VW head for sale. You can see the port on the big valve head compared to the NOS. machine shop said it would need over sized lifters otherwise the one of the journals might wear excessively. You can see there was some repair work done in a couple of the pictures. Let me know if you have any questions.
