This engine was purchased near the beginning of the category for an F/1000 project that was never completed.
We looked forever to find this engine -- a stock unit with six hundred miles on it (before someone dumped a brand new bike). The engine was never opened up or fired by us, other than to attach the dry sump for fitment purposes in a one-off chassis.
Anyway, the project over, the engine is now (finally) for sale. Currently it hasn't carbs or plenum on it, although I probably can find those items for an extra hundred bucks, if absolutely needed.
The dry sump (bolted up, not plumbed) goes with the engine at $3,400 OBO.

PS: The red beneath the engine is not oil or fluid; its dykem on a piece of aluminum plate!
