Number Location

Hi Guys,

I am new to FC and have my first novice event this weekend. It is an ICSCC event, and when reading through the ICSCC rules, I found this:

1106.E: Side numbers on formula cars should be placed to the rear of the center of the car, but forward of the rear wheels.

However, more than half of FC cars I have seen have the side number on the rear wing endplate, including my car.

Does anyone know if this is just a non-enforced rule, or do I need to put the numbers on the side of the bodywork?
