Right now on my formula Ford, I have the following "orientation" for my brake calipers.
On the front axle, the brake calipers on the trailing edge of the upright, and the rear brake calipers are on the leading edge of the upright.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage to changing the caliper location on the car? I have brake mounting points on either the leading or trailing edge of the uprights and I was curious what the general consensus was.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to putting the front brake calipers on the leading edge of the upright?
What about putting the rear caliper on the trailing edge of the upright?
thoughts? I would be interested to hear what people think
