Had a situation today where two ff were racing nose to tail the entire race I was in second and after laps of trading drafts was just where I wanted to be coming out of last turn on last lap only to have an FE with no race dive bomb blow the corner and screw up my race. Not only that but after he recovered he wanted to get aggressive on his recovery.
I resisted my initial urge to put him in the wall on purpose and also resisted my urge to confront him in impound. We will discuss at a later time when I am calm.
The point of this is with all the bitching about mixed classes that will never go away, the faster cars with no race must respect a battle between slower cars in front of them. For years in the FC I would slow to a stop for an FV battle in the corner knowing that I would go by on the straight. By the same token most slower groups give way unless they have a race.
This guy today would have had no issue waiting. Best lap times were 1.7 sec apart on 2.25 roval
