Steve Burkett Race Admin worker of year

I just read the article In this months Sports Car magazine about Steve Burkett of Southern Il region being named Race Admin Worker of the year. What a well deserved honor and recognition. We race at Gateway where Steve and all the other St Louis & Southern Il members host regionals. I can say first hand that they set the gold standard for how race weekends should be conducted. Their hard work and dedication shows and one result is that we are holding the final Hoosier Series race of the year at Gateway in October. We will be bringing as many as 15 Formula First's to their Regional race from as far away as New York. National SCCA and struggling regions need to study how the folks do it there. They get it right!
