Differences between LD 200 and MK 9 Tranny

Is there any way to tell the difference between MK 9 gear ratios and LD 200 ones? I have some spare gears that I can't correlate to any of the LD 200 ones listed on various web sites. Can you use a MK 9 ratio in a LD 200?
