Hello all,
I've been lurking ApexSpeed for a while and recently pulled the trigger on a car. I bought the ex- Duncan Dayton/ Highcroft RF-97 from Primus and am in the process of having the old girl transported to central Texas. I'm pretty stoked, as i haven't been in an F2000 car since a few test days way back in 1998 (in, of all things, an RF-97).
I've been around racing all of my life, in fact, my first Runoffs was in 1994 while I was still a teenager. Moving forward, I instructed at The Mid Ohio School for a couple years in the mid-2000's, got sick of Ohio winters, and moved to Austin a little over six years ago. I hear that there are some great open wheel resources here in Austin and I look forward to getting to know them. I'm a tin top guy, so I have some relearning to do.
I do see some familiar names here on ApexSpeed.
