Crossle45F: Cable attached to Roll Bar

On my Crossle, there is an attachment point near the top of the roll hoop for a cable to be anchored (See attached picture). It connects to the battery cut off switch. It has a hole on each side of the attachment point and looks like a piece of metal inserted from the bottom to hold the the cable in. I'd like to remove the cable and still be able to attach the cable again (e.g. don't hack it all up).

Anyone done this before? Thanks
