Own a significant and rare piece of Formula Vee history. For sale is my 1969 Zeitler Formula Vee that has just undergone a complete and totally comprehensive restoration/rebuild.
The reason for this sale is, unfortunately due to health issues that force me to retire from competitive racing. I truly want this car to go to the right person who will appreciate it for its history and for the purpose for which it was created - to RACE.
Here is a brief synopsis of the effort and attention to detail put into this race car:
• Frame crack tested, extra safety bars installed, and powdercoated in bright silver
• New/fresh Rollin Butler Cricket Farm Motors engine with one shakedown session
• All major components replaced or rebuilt including gearbox, steer boxing, starter, suspension components, etc.
• Complete nut and bolt replacement with AN hardware where applicable
• New .080 T-6 6061 aluminum floor pan installed riveted and bonded
• New Wilans harness
• Period correct stainless steel headers created by Roxanne Headers
• New Apex joints installed on shift and steering systems
• Lots of polished aluminum panels and chrome plated components
• Completely new electrical system
• Complete owner history available
