This is a general post regarding the subject of single class racing. The FF/CF series currently known as DUFFUS is working with some folks in FV and F500/F600 to try and identify some opportunities for large fields, single class races and significant track time.
Our alliance is in its early stages, but the FF/CF, FV & F500/F600 groups are certainly not the only classes that would relish the opportunity to race in group that is only for a single class. Our three groups have found some people who are willing to speak with SCCA regions and other organization who might be willing to create such an opportunity if the race entry numbers make sense.
If there are some drivers who would be interested in trying to pull together a group of drivers in FC, FE, FST, P1, or P2 please get in touch with me (joemffrace@verizon,net). While nothing is certain and there are no guarantees, someone really smart once told me that "the world is run by those who show up". So, if you would like to discuss the possibilities, requirements, venues, anything; please get in touch so we can get more drivers to show up.
