It finally has worn out as evidenced by the polishing that the starter pinion had done on hte inside of the bellhouosing.
Tried gently tapping then a bit more firmly the back side of the bushing with a hammer and a drift punch. A tiny bit of movement.
Probably too small a hole to get a pilot bearing puller into.
Besides threading the ID of the bushing and attaching a slide hammer to the bolt that would be threaded into it or application of heat does anyone have any ideas on how to remove it?
What is the general opinion of how much interference it should have with the bore in the bellhousing.
