Wings and Things



After several years of open wheel not being a grid at Central Florida SCCA Driver Schools - it's gotten to the point that there has been one grid only for the Driver School along with a couple of PDX groups



- yes -



- plural - Driver's Schools - Cent. Fla. Region puts on two Schools a year



as in......one at Daytona [infield] in April and one at Sebring in July [short course - which I find one tough track because there's almost never a moment not involved with having to be right of top of driving the car hard] ........



......there is talk - only talk at this time - of bringing back an open wheel grid for the Driver Schools - maybe both Schools ???...... It would include open wheel racecars & Sports Racers [now those P classes] & Spec Racers & other assorted cars [example: Lotus Super Seven]



Ya'll stay tuned and don't touch that dial.



For those truly interested - be you a shop owner that maybe would rent out a car - or a newbie - or someone thinking to get into open wheel - or someone who has a license and wants cheap seat time - or???......... so that interest can be gauged, so that the real 'powers that be' who put these things together are more likely to reinstitute such a grid, feel free to send me a message at EYERACE@Bellsouth.net and I'll get the thoughts to them.
