bell housing/oil tank crack, fixable?

Tonight I just found this crack in my bell housing/oil tank.



I has already been repaired by some previous owner and has cracked in the same spot



Questions

Is it repairable?

Any suggestions on who to take it to in the PNW?

Any thing I can do to keep this from happening again?

Any one have a spare bell housing/oil tank sitting around to sell me for a 96 Van Diemen
