Laguna regional class groupings

For the upcoming regional at Laguna Seca, there are currently 32 cars in the "small" formula car class, which includes FV,F5,CF,FF,FC. Of these 32, 10 are FC's. Is it normal for the west coast to run FC's with FV's? This seems like like a disaster in the making and after a 30 hour tow and $2000 in gas I'll be seriously PO'd if it becomes one.

I've requested that the FC's be moved to the smaller group of faster open wheel cars, (currently only 22 total) but it was met with "We don't see a problem". I'd even take the 2 FE's in the faster open wheel group to even out the car numbers.

For those of you who have run at Laguna before, is 32 cars ranging from FC's to FV's going to be crowded? Is it worth the trip to get track time or should I just expect a giant cluster?
