Since winter seems to be holding on longer then usual, I am finally getting around to a trailer improvement.
My back has had enough of the air mattress, so I came up with this folding bed design.
The vertical members you see are existing in the trailer, part of an internal tire rack. The tire rack is steel tube that ties into the trailer frame, I think it will make the perfect suport.
The rest of the bed frame is 6061-T6....should be getting lots of TIG practice!
Mattress is a futon, full size.
