Water pump belt loss detector!

In response to a number of requests, CDS has developed a belt loss detector kit that will let you know when your belt-driven water pump is no longer turning. This will give you a much faster warning than any other detection method, and will help prevent serious engine damage from overheating.

The kit includes a mounting bracket, sensor, and magnet for the pulley. With a CDS CoPilot2 system, this will interface directly and generate a warning message on the dash along with a warning light. The mounting bracket is designed for the SRF Gen3, but can be adapted to other engines.

For non-CDS cars we have a separate standalone interface with a dash warning light that will flash when the pulley stops turning. This version could also be used to interface to other data systems that can take a 12V signal input.
