Phil Wang demonstrates his dominance on the 2015 season

The final race weekend of the Millers Oil Canadian Formula 1200 series proved to be an exciting one. The weather was perfect, Atmosphere was electric, everyone wanted to end the season on a high note.

The weekend start off with an exciting qualifying session Saturday morning, the fastest times being set at the end of the session. Phil Wang in # 76 would take the pole as he has done many times this season, followed by Noel Brigido, Michael Iamundi, Matt Garwood and Peter Hanson rounding off the top 5.

Race 1 Saturday afternoon would see Phil lead most of the race, with some final lap dramatics overtaking Michael in the final corners and drag racing for the finish line to take the win. Followed but Noel, Matt, and Barrett finish off the top 5. The top 5 cars were separated by only 2.2 seconds.

Race 2 Sunday morning would bring some more dramatics, Barrett would get off to a great start, driving the lead pack. Phil would take the lead for most of the race, with 4 cars battling to the finish, where Michael would eventually pull off the win in an epic 4 car race for the line, followed closely by Barrett, Phil, Matt and Noel rounding off the top 5. 0.6 seconds is all the separated the top 4 cars.

Race 3, final race of the weekend and the 2015 season did not disappoint. Right from the start the battle brewed between the former series Champion Michael and the Newly crowned Champion Phil with Barrett threatening to show both of up. IT did not take long for this to become a 2 car battle right to the end. Where eventually Phil would take win by a mere .130 seconds. Followed by Michael, Barrett, Matt and Noel.

It was an exciting weekend for all the competitors. All cars are in 1 piece, all drivers are safe great finish to a great season.
