Can anyone recommend a good book or other reference materials pertaining to suspension and suspension upright design? I do intend to get copies of the Carroll Smith books.
I have an idea to build a tandem seat formula style car for autocross and cruise in street driving. I don't intend to meet any specific class, but to give ride alongs and people a wtf moment at the local cruise in. I have a general idea of the power train components I want to use, and an inspiration from the tandem seat indy car from a few years back. What I don't know is how to design and build the suspension so I can then design the chassis around it.
I know this is an ambitious project and it will probably take several years, but I would appreciate any information you can point me towards
