glove lifetime

Last couple sets of gloves I've bought are Sparco's with the little gripper tube thingies. I have not really been happy with how long they last. They start to come apart at the seams after 1 season and are done by 2 seasons.

Is this the typical lifetime folks are getting out of their gloves?
