Retired military professional, looking to facilitate a business with my passion for racing as a current driver. Presently looking for input on a rent-a-ride business model I am trying to implement. Need feedback on the type of formula car individual racers would be interested in for rental purposes i.e. rent-a-ride. The cars that interest me are: F5, FF (all), FV, and 600-650cc to 1000cc powered cars. Rental price point by the day weekend and week, expectations of what renters would want in a team they would do business with. I am located within the Great Lakes Region and said business would incorporate: Central, Midwest, Southeast/Southwest and Northeast.
What are the needs of racers a possible a team should incorporate in their rental menu. In all, I am brainstorming ideas to ensure this can be feasible. I do wish to fill a need that is not presently in place. This business model will also enlist an established non profit organization utilizing disabled veterans as crew and support personnel. My goal is, to support a viable business, and at the same time give back to my brothers and sisters in arms by educational awareness of veterans to the local community. As well as, empower disabled veterans through active participation in motorsports. The team will act as a conduit for support of veterans at the community level and to support a non profit organization currently spreading awareness of veterans issues and needs.
I would appreciate any and all input from both Apex Speed and SCCA community.
