Spindle offset bushings

Can something show (preferred) or describe the giveaway when identifying whether offset bushings are installed on loose spindles? It's probably super obvious, but having not seen them myself and I'm unable to find pictures, I'm having trouble identifying what's what in my bucket o'spares.
