help with car Identification

I've been looking at this car and would love to find out if anyone knows what it is?



seller really doesn't know

he is led to believe it may be a Mistrale, but no evidence on that just one conversation with a racer who also didn't know



not original motor or trans

claimed to be a 1969 F3 car



no log book, no history, and no chassis plate

aluminum side tanks



does anyone recognize it? or have any clues?
