1969 LeGrand MK10 Formula Ford, vintage legal. Car is in the LeGrand Registry. Just completed restoration of the chassis, all work done by Troy Stevens. Three main tubes replaced due to rot, new hoop, re-enforcements, new floor pan. Chassis is now perfect and needs nothing but blasting and paint. Have all suspension pieces including special LeGrand rear uprights and driveshafts. No shocks. Have all parts of the braking system, including master cylinders, and all four calipers have been restored. Have steering rack and steering wheel, dash panel and instruments. Also have foot pedals. Four Pannasport wheels in good condition.
Actual motor condition is unknown. Previous owner claims to have just rebuilt the motor with new pistons, bearings and valve job. Looks good from removing the head but have not pulled the pan to check. Has dry sump pump. Cortina head looks good. Have GT manifold and headers. No distributor or carb.
Two brand new nose cones, center body section is rough but complete as are the side panels. I have just purchased a engine cover mold but have yet to make the actual part.
I have a VW gearbox that came with the car and can be used to mock up the project.
Car needs a Hewland gearbox, fuel cell, shocks and radiator.
I really wanted to keep and finish off this project but work and other race cars mean that I may be too old to race it once finished.
