Hi, I'm interested in FV racing and have been looking through this forum for a while to get information. I thought I'd introduce myself before posting anything further.
My name is Paul and I've been auto crossing a Miata for about 12 years. Nothing competitive, just having fun. A couple of seasons back I decided to become an active member in my local clubs so that I can start giving back to everyone who has provided such fun, local events. We have a great bunch of people here in the TVR.
I recently bought a dedicated rally cross car and it came with a SCCA logbook so I figured what the heck, I'll get my time trial license. Boy was that fun! I suppose I can keep tracking the RX car, but I'm really interested in a formula car, and FV looks like it would be in my budget. So I'm looking at FV cars. I'm not looking to win any championships, just want seat time and fun with friends on a reasonable budget. I was interested in Mike's (MCRacer) Caracal, but I was late coming to the party with cash and it was already spoken for. I know several local guys who frequent this forum, so I do have a good deal of local knowledge to draw from. I'll be crawling the classifieds and other sections learning what I can about the cars.
Anyway, I may be on here asking questions and thought I'd say something about myself first. :greenflag:
