I know this is a late post as most of you guys are already at the track but:
My name is Jon Updegrove. I am 22 years old and from Allentown, PA. I will be traveling to Florida this Friday (tomorrow) to work with Cape Motorsports the following week and I thought about checking if there was any races in the area. I see here that there is and I am planning on going to the Majors event at Sebring Saturday and Sunday (January 17 and 18th) to at least spectate. Since I am there and watching, I would really like the opportunity to crew for a team that is in need of an extra set of hands. I have an Annual SCCA Membership and I will be traveling with all my own tools. I have crewed for many amateur road racers, Hillclimbers, and Autocrossers before. Most recently, I was able to crew for Dave Weitzenhof in his F2000 car. I've also crewed for guys in several other different classes such as Formula Vee, Formula 500, E-Production, F-Production, B-Mod, F-Mod, K-mod to name a few. I am currently rebuilding from the ground up my own 1997 Van Diemen Formula Continental (pictures of my car taken this morning seen below). I have previous employment experience as a mechanic in a shop and working in an auto body shop that also does restoration work. I am currently working as an Event Chief and Head Instructor for a Ferrari and Lamborghini driving experience called Imagine Lifestyles (http://ift.tt/1u5SoP2). I am a hard worker, I listen to instructions, and I can help your team.
