F600 Challenge: Honda is a New Sponsor

HONDA PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES CONTINGENCY SUPPORT FOR THE F600 CHALLENGE SERIES



Honda Performance Development (HPD) will be providing contingency purses for the Formula 600 Challenge Series drivers who use Honda engines. Jeff Barrow, HPD Manager, Commercial Motorsports stated, “We are excited to be part of this new series and supporting the efforts of the Honda drivers throughout this season.”



Formula 600 Challenge Series was developed to help promote an affordable formula car class to showcase talent without a large financial budget. The Formula 600 car uses a 600cc motorcycle engine with a 6 speed sequential transmission revving up to 15,000 rpm reaching speeds in excess of 135 mph. The exhaust sound of these cars is likened to a F1 car.
