Up to three Argo Racing Formula Ford Zetec 2.0L open wheel racers are being offered for sale. In excellent running and cosmetic condition, all three cars carry identical Zetec 2.0L twin-cam, 16 valve 4-cylinder engines rated at 165 horsepower accelerating the 1150 pound vehicles to speeds of up to 150 MPH down the straight! With Hewland 4-speed gearboxes and dry sump oil systems, these open wheelers are constructed from honeycomb aluminum planks joined together with a steel tubular space-frame design. The suspension is pushrod type, front and rear, double wishbone with coaxial spring/dampers.The cars run on 13 inch steel wheels with 16/53-13 (Front) and 23/57 (Rear) racing slicks.
These cars have been meticulously maintained and are perfect for open wheel racing schools, racing driver development, SCCA, FARA, HSR events, one-make racing series and track days. The Argo chassis and the Ford Zetec 2.0L combination offer a proven platform for anyone looking for a competitive ride.

Recently serviced, it is a perfect complement for someone looking at multiple Argos and is being offered for $55,000.
