Lower a pull rod front end

Crossle 65FF with pull rod front end. Looks like the logical way to lower the front end - about 1/2 to 1"inch - is lengthen the pullrods but they are at maximum length and no others listed on parts list. Sooo.....



a) reduce the preload? - moves the fulcrum position of the "rockers"

b) lengthen the springs - again moves the rockers?



Is the key that each side is even, not where the relative position of the rocker to horizontal plane (ie ground).
