This is my first attempt at crack checking spindles, using Spotcheck. I have done this test on this specific spindle 3 times and I tend to get different results. The manual says that there should be a bright line if there's a crack. I tend to see washed out lines at the base of the spindle (click on the picture to enlarge), as shown in the pictures below.
This is a FV spindle (link pin style), I've been using Palermo's bushing and these spindles were cracked checked before (not by me) and didn't seem to be damaged.
What do you think, is it cracked, or not?
