Royale RP3A1 1971

1971 Royale Vintage FF RP3A1. This is that "Schmitts" beer livery car that Bill Scott raced to an 18 second lead in the pro series at VIR before retiring with an engine problem. One of 8 cars imported to the US. 20 total were built.

This car has a total bare frame restoration four races ago. Fresh (8 hours) Legal Farley engine 118hp dyno. Hewland gearbox adapted for donuts. Dual adjustable shocks. New 1800.00 stainless steel header. Fresh paint. The original livery vinyl comes with the car. You can choose your number or the original.

I have had great success with this car. 2011 Monoposto FF Champion. 2011 Rahal Legends FF Champion.

The car has an extended roll bar for tall drivers. However the main reason for my selling the car is that I have a very tall seating height, and I am marginal so far as the rules go. I am 6"2" tall with a 32" inseam. I believe that the car would be a better fit for someone 6' or under.

This car is 100% track ready. Tires were new in May at Road America and are in their prime. You will not find a better Vintage Ford with this kind of History. SVRA annual tech.
