When measuring headers, what is it exactly that is measured? The average header length, by measuring the pipe length at the centre line? Or the shortest length (inside radius of the bends)?
Average requires properly finding the centre line of the curves and is a bit tricky. While shortest length seems easier as one could just run a string with a weight inside the pipes and pull on the string, much easier it seems.
